Job summary

SCAN Group, a nonprofit health organization serving multiple states, seeks a Senior Actuarial Analyst to prepare and analyze data for network contract modeling and to support the actuarial team in improving model efficiency. The role involves mentoring junior analysts and collaborating with network management for negotiations.

You will work on Medicare Advantage bids, ad hoc analytics, and data extraction, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in actuarial science, mathematics or statistics or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years in healthcare actuarial, health economics, or health finance; provider contract modeling experience.
• Proficient in statistics, modeling, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze data for network contract modeling and reporting.
• Develop ad hoc provider claims modeling for fee-for-service negotiations.
• Support Medicare Advantage bid development by tracking network assumptions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve model efficiency.
