Alignment Health is seeking a Sr. Actuarial Analyst (Remote) to perform advanced actuarial analysis, financial modeling, and data-driven insights across reserves, risk adjustment, Part D, and pharmacy analytics.

You will collaborate with finance, pharmacy, clinical, and operations teams to deliver actionable insights and ensure data integrity for regulatory reporting. The role requires 3–5 years of experience, actuarial education, ASA consideration, and exposure to SQL, R, or Python.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of work experience in actuarial analytics.
• Requires a college degree with at least a minor in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or equivalent.
• ASA designation or near completion is preferred; programming in SQL, R, or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and audit actuarial models to support reserves and RAF accruals and forecasting.
• Analyze healthcare cost and utilization trends, including pharmacy and medical cost drivers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review financial performance and translate analytics into business insights.
• Communicate complex analyses to leadership through reports and dashboards.
