Job summary

SCAN Group in the United States is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support Part D bids, model maintenance, and financial projections. The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with the actuarial team.

Mostly remote work with a strong compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, generous PTO, and a wellness program; you will work on Medicare-related initiatives and cost reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics or quantitative coursework.
• 2–4 years actuarial experience in healthcare or managed care preferred.
• Experience with Medicare/Part D or health plans is highly desired.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL and related data tools; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze data for Part D bids and compare actual vs. forecast.
• Support ad-hoc analytics for contracting and product development.
• Use Data Warehouse to develop reports and extract data fields.
• Analyze historical data to establish reasonable assumptions.
• Assist with Medicare Advantage bid pricing and budget monitoring.
