Job summary

SCAN Group seeks an Actuarial Analyst to prepare and analyze data for Part D bids, maintain models, and support contract modeling. You will analyze historical trends, assist with Medicare Advantage bid pricing, and help forecast pharmacy costs. Strong SQL and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics or similar quantitative major.
• 2-4 years actuarial experience in healthcare/health plan/managed care.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid Part D or health insurance is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced SQL.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze data for Part D and compare actual vs forecast.
• Support analytics for provider contracting and product development.
• Develop reports using Data Warehouse and extract data fields.
• Assist with Medicare Advantage bid pricing and budget monitoring.
• Identify workflow improvements and automate processes.
