Job summary

Earthwise, a Bunzl company, seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team. You will maintain financial records, process transactions, perform reconciliations, support month-end close activities, and assist with A/R and A/P functions.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and capable of handling multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism, in a remote role with occasional travel to Glendale, CA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience including A/R and A/P.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• AS400 experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer account setup and maintenance in AS400.
• Serve as primary contact for billing, payments, and collections.
• Process payments, credits, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on delinquencies.
• Maintain documentation of collection activities and account records.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Provide cross-functional support for AP and other accounting functions.
• Identify process improvements and participate in special projects.
