Job summary

Frontline Wildfire Defense is seeking a skilled GL Accountant to manage multi-entity reconciliations and month-end close processes in a remote-first environment. You will handle bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, flux analysis, and audit-ready work papers.

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000–$115,000 DOE plus equity and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible PTO, and a work-from-home stipend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of GL accounting experience.
• Hands-on reconciliations experience with bank and credit card accounts, and journal entries.
• Detail-oriented, precise, and comfortable solving puzzles in a fast-paced remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Own all bank and credit card reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Execute assigned month-end close tasks with journal entries, flux analysis, and audit-ready work papers.
• Support AP/AR functions and identify process improvements to tighten close timelines.
