Job summary

Fullridge Advisors is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to own the monthly close across client engagements, maintain the general ledger, and produce GAAP-compliant financial statements for a portfolio of clients. This fully remote US opportunity sits at the center of our controllership work, ensuring accuracy and timely closes.

You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, intercompany items, and e-commerce workflows (Shopify/Amazon).

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience (staff accountant, bookkeeper-to-financials, or similar).
• Solid command of GAAP and accrual-basis accounting; comfortable owning a monthly close end to end.
• Strong reconciliation discipline and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close across clients: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure books are accurate, tie out, and are close-ready on a predictable cadence.
• Prepare GAAP-aligned financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Manage AP/AR, bank and credit card reconciliations, and intercompany entries as needed.
• Support cash-to-accrual conversion and accrual-basis bookkeeping.
• Handle e-commerce accounting workflows: Shopify/Amazon sales reconciliation, inventory and COGS entries, and payment-processor tie-outs.
• Communicate directly with client stakeholders and flag issues before they become close-cycle problems.
• Deliver clean, review-ready work with minimal supervision.
