Keystone Engineering Inc. is seeking a remote Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Team. The role reports to the Controller and supports general accounting functions, including month-end close, GL reconciliations, and inter-company activity.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Accounting with 5–10 years of accounting experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills. This position is fully remote in the USA and requires authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting required.
• 5–10 years of accounting experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support multi-company month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations for bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, debt, and inter-company activity.
• Analyze G/L expense accounts to ensure complete and accurate reporting of operating results.
• Prepare depreciation schedules for multiple companies.
• Review and test accuracy of revenue transactions.
• Conduct income statement variance analyses.
• Prepare state sales tax returns.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with annual audits and economic census surveys.
• Produce financial data for management upon request.
• Other projects as assigned.
