Job summary

Vaco invites applications for a Senior Accountant role in a fully remote setting with exposure to a multinational environment, including LATAM operations and U.S. leadership.

The position supports a high-impact finance transformation during rapid expansion and requires strong accounting fundamentals, IFRS/US GAAP knowledge, and SAP experience. The role offers opportunities to build robust accounting processes, partner with LATAM and U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting (month-end close, GL, reconciliations).
• Fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Hands-on experience with SAP.
• Experience in multinational or LATAM-focused accounting environments.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own key aspects of the month-end close, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Support audit-related activities, including inventory audits.
• Assist in clean-up efforts and process improvements across accounting operations.
• Partner closely with remote Controller (LATAM-based) and U.S. finance leadership.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimization of accounting processes and procedures.
