Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Sr. Accountant to support a finance transformation in a fast-growing, private equity-backed technology company. This fully remote role offers exposure to a multinational environment with LATAM operations and US leadership.

You will own month-end close, GL, reconciliations, audits, and process improvements, collaborating with a remote LATAM Controller and US finance leaders. Fluency in Spanish and English and SAP experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting (month-end close, GL, reconciliations).
• Fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
• Hands-on experience with SAP.
• Experience in multinational or LATAM-focused accounting environments.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own key aspects of the month-end close, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Support audit-related activities, including inventory audits.
• Assist in clean-up efforts and process improvements across accounting operations.
• Partner closely with remote Controller (LATAM-based) and US finance leadership.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimization of accounting processes and procedures.
