Job summary

Vaco is partnering with a large international healthcare organization to hire a Technical Senior Accountant with a strong technical accounting background. This remote role offers a base salary of $80K-$115K plus potential bonus and exposure to complex accounting matters.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, Big 4 public accounting or equivalent technical accounting experience in a publicly traded company, and CPA or CPA progress. Strong communication and research skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in relevant accounting roles.
• Big 4 public accounting experience at senior level or equivalent technical accounting experience in a publicly traded company.
• CPA or CPA progress required.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support technical accounting matters including M&A and purchase accounting, revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, and consolidations.
• Assist with accounting for debt and equity transactions and SEC reporting requirements.
• Research and interpret complex US GAAP guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical accounting matters and strategic initiatives.
