Job summary

Rocket Software seeks a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. This role will drive close processes, consolidated reporting, and audit support in a global org. The position is US-based remote, aligned to Eastern Time hours, and collaborates with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, and IT.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, strong US GAAP knowledge, and hands-on month-end experience, with expertise in Oracle, Blackline, and Lease Accelerator. This role supports global accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience in corporate or public accounting.
• Hands-on with month-end/quarter-end close and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate across accounting and non-accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting for closes across leases, accruals, debt, and IT expenditures.
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement prep and tie-outs.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and schedules.
• Consolidate multi-entity results and manage currency translation.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly close activities and resolve bottlenecks.
• Administer Oracle, Blackline, and Lease Accelerator; troubleshoot issues.
