Thrive Market is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our fully remote Accounting team. You will maintain timely, accurate financial records and manage month-end close, reconciliations, and ad hoc projects. You will apply US GAAP knowledge and internal controls to support the financial close process.

The ideal candidate has strong Excel, data analysis skills, and experience with ERP systems like NetSuite; you will collaborate across departments and report to the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or related analytical field
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, or CPG is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills and complex financial modeling
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets
• Experience with SQL or BI tools (Domo, Tableau) strongly preferred
• Experience with ERP/planning/forecasting/reporting tools (NetSuite, Adaptive) strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment

Responsabilités

• Responsible for monthly financial closing activities, procedures, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Monitor and review financial activity, as well as assist with flux analysis, to help ensure transactions are recorded timely and accurately
• Partner with internal teams and external business contacts to support accurate and timely financial processes
• Assist with the annual financial audit and related documentation requests
• Take on ad-hoc accounting projects and other duties as needed to support the Accounting and Finance team
• Utilize accounting systems and tools to process, record, and maintain financial transactions
