Carrington Mortgage Holdings is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Title Division to perform general accounting functions using GAAP and manage ledger activities from a remote home office. The role includes month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and support for audits across multiple divisions.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $36.00–$46.00 plus an annual bonus, with pay determined by knowledge, skills, and experience. Remote work is emphasized with PST hours preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• Three to five years of general accounting/finance experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Oracle ERP accounting software preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in general ledger.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, including receivables, prepaids, accruals and other liabilities.
• Responsible for internal and external wire transfers and ensure accurate posting.
• Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts for month-end close per US GAAP.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits and maintain internal controls.
