Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Title Division to perform general accounting functions, GL and balance sheet analyses under US GAAP, and prepare data for journal entries and financial statements. The role supports month-end close and audits, maintains internal controls, and coordinates with other departments.

This is a remote-from-home position with PST hours. Qualifications include a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business, 3–5 years of accounting

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of general accounting/finance experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written) and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in general ledger.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
• Responsible for internal and external wire transfers.
• Review, analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts at month end close.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits.
• Maintain internal controls and establish company policies.
