Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings is seeking a Senior Accountant for the Title Division to perform general accounting functions and detailed analyses under US GAAP. This role is remote from home with PST hours; annual bonus is offered based on performance.

The candidate will handle journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews across multiple divisions, including MLD and Vylla, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of general accounting/finance experience.
• Excel proficiency and Oracle ERP knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Oversee internal and external wire transfers and related controls.
• Analyze and reconcile GAAP-based income statement and balance sheet fluctuations.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits and support audits.
