Job summary

Viya Health seeks a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to own the centralized accounting and consolidation function. You will manage intercompany eliminations, HQ sales accounting, and the HQ month-end close, ensuring IFRS or US GAAP compliance across group entities.

You will coordinate with country finance teams, prepare management packs, and drive improvements in reporting, controls, and automation while supporting audits in a fast-paced, remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience; consolidation experience.
• Strong intercompany accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Exposure to audit processes.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG, Healthcare, Distribution, Manufacturing, or International Trading.
• Experience with inventory and sales accounting.
• Experience with CIN7 or similar ERP/inventory platforms.
• Expert Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Professionalism and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Able to translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own centralized accounting and consolidation function.
• Record intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Lead HQ month-end close and financial reporting.
• Ensure consolidation compliance with IFRS or US GAAP.
• Coordinate with country finance teams to clear reconciling items.
• Prepare board, investor, and management reporting packs.
• Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations across entities.
• Own revenue and sales accounting for HQ activities.
• Support audits and internal controls; maintain narratives.
