Job summary

Viya Health is seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to lead the centralized accounting and consolidation function across its global entity. You will own intercompany eliminations, HQ sales accounting, and the HQ month-end close, coordinating with entity teams and auditors.

You will ensure consistency of accounting treatments, prepare consolidated statements, and support board/investor reporting while driving process improvements and governance across finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in Accounting or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience with consolidated financial statements experience
• Strong intercompany accounting and reconciliation experience
• Exposure to audit processes
• Pharmaceutical, FMCG, Healthcare, Distribution, Manufacturing, or International Trading environment
• Experience with inventory and sales accounting
• Experience working with CIN7 or similar ERP/inventory platforms
• Expert Excel skills with pivot tables, vlookups, and sumifs
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and issue resolution
• High professionalism and ability to work in a remote, mission-driven environment
• Ability to translate complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own HQ accounting and consolidation, including intercompany eliminations.
• Record intercompany transactions and maintain the framework.
• Manage HQ month-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS or US GAAP.
• Coordinate with country finance for reconciliations and audits.
• Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards.
• Support ERP implementation and automation initiatives.
• Ensure revenue recognition and CIN7 reconciliation compliance.
• Mentor Accounting Assistant and oversee journal entries and schedules
