Job summary

Pyramid Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Remote Senior Accountant to partner with leadership and support financial operations, accounting processes, cash management, and business planning initiatives. This hands-on role oversees day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, billing, and compliance while providing operational and analytical support across the business.

While remote, candidates should be able to work PST hours to align with team hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
• Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations.
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software; QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Experience within professional services, agency, consulting, media, entertainment, or similar industries preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• CPA or advanced accounting credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, and management reporting packages.
• Oversee invoicing, collections, and payment tracking; resolve billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate vendor payments, commissions, and other financial transactions.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and working capital planning.
• Monitor treasury activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis, reporting, process improvements, and special projects.
• Support contract, revenue, and operational reporting processes.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, 1099 processing, and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure documentation, record retention, and financial compliance practices.
