Job summary

PROVE Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting and Finance Consultant (remote) to support accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury, and internal controls in a fast-paced, globally distributed business environment. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles, with strong knowledge of U.S.

GAAP, ERP systems, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA or CPA-equivalent certification is strongly preferred; public accounting experience is highly preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience in specialty finance, healthcare finance, or receivables is preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge including U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger and classify transactions accurately.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, commissions, and fixed assets processes.
• Ensure timely debt payments and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead implementation/optimization of ERP and reporting systems like NetSuite, Tableau, Power BI.
