Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. This US-based remote role supports the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidated financial reporting, audit support, and administration of key accounting systems and controls.

The Senior Accountant will coordinate activities across Corporate Accounting and partner with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Facilities, Benefits, Shared Services, and IT. ETZ hours knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA certification required.
• Strong foundation in US GAAP and corporate accounting.
• Experience with month-end/quarter-end close and reconciliations.
• Excellent Excel, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Assist with financial statement preparation, tables, footnotes, and tie-outs.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and support for consolidated results.
• Coordinate close across multiple legal entities and currencies.
• Lead close calls, monitor deadlines, and address bottlenecks.
• Support Oracle, Blackline, and Lease Accelerator and troubleshoot issues.
