Job summary

First Stop Health LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant I to join our Finance team. This role owns monthly billing cycles, broker commissions, and accounts receivable duties including collection.

Key responsibilities include generating invoices, handling self-billing processes, and ensuring accuracy across billing data, pricing, and contract terms. A collaborative, remote-first environment supports flexibility and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-6 years of progressive billing, accounts receivable, collections and accounting experience.
• Experience managing high-volume billing cycles and resolving customer billing discrepancies.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute customer invoices bi-monthly.
• Process quarterly, semi-annual and annual invoices; calculate true ups when eligible.
• Manage monthly self-billing processes; validate customer-reported headcounts and payments.
• Review billing data, configurations, pricing, headcounts and contract terms to identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Client Success, Sales, RevOps and Analytics to resolve billing issues.
