Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Finance Shared Services group on a 6-month contract, fully remote. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, and timely reporting to support the Record to Report, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash functions, ensuring data integrity across the finance ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of accounting experience, including 3 years as a Senior Accountant, with revenue recognition knowledge and SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years total experience in accounting with at least 3 years as a Senior Accountant.
• Knowledge of SAP software is preferred.
• Revenue recognition experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines and deliver on goals and objectives.
• Participate in month-end close and reporting per Corporate calendar.
• Record and report transactions timely and accurately.
• Identify and resolve issues and propose solutions to management.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger, AP, AR, and bank accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Maintain/update desk-top procedures and checklists.
• Provide analyses and support to management.
