Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking an Account Manager III to renew and grow existing public market accounts. You will lead contract negotiations, plan terms, and expand services while aligning with client goals and regulatory requirements.

The role requires seven years of sales or negotiation experience, a NJ Health/Life license, and strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Travel within New Jersey is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of professional sales or contract negotiation experience.
• New Jersey State Health/Life License required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract renewals and maximize account retention and member enrollment.
• Plan and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with existing accounts.
• Sell additional lines of business to existing clients.
• Compare and recommend products based on client needs assessment.
• Modify contracts for term changes outside guidelines as needed.
• Develop and conduct workshops for clients on enrollment, claim procedures, and regulations.
