Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Manager – Employee Benefits to lead client services for a growing benefits book. You will manage a team of Account Coordinators, drive daily tasks, ensure high service levels, and explore opportunities to expand IOA’s client base.

Strong communication and leadership are essential. The role supports remote work within CA, NV, and AZ with on-site flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active insurance license required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Client management: maintain book of business and performance.
• Client service: deliver outstanding service and respond quickly.
• Team leadership: lead the account team with a strong work ethic.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and assign tasks.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup, data gathering, and client file creation.
• Oversee renewals, verify data, and liaise with clients and carriers.
• Build and improve client relationships and seek feedback.
• Advocate for clients and carriers for beneficial outcomes.
• Identify and implement value-added solutions for clients.
• Compile, analyze, and report client plan performance data.
