You will manage an assigned book of business, ensure retention, and support new business while coordinating daily admin tasks and client service.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, has strong analytical and communication skills, and can lead a small team to deliver exceptional service and renewal negotiations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and pursue outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
• Deliver proactive service and timely responses.
• Stay updated on company policies.
• Seek continuous improvement.
