Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, lead the account management team, and ensure retention and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in account management or 7+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and collect outstanding balances (accounts receivable).
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor data accurately.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
