Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business. You will coordinate admin tasks, resolve complex issues, and serve as a subject matter expert for the team.

The role emphasizes leadership of the account management group, strong client service, renewal management and collaboration with carriers. Remote work is available with occasional onsite needs based on policy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience or 7+ years in insurance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organization

Responsibilities

• Maintain high technical competence and industry expertise
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and present proposals
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Ensure timely completion of activity/suspense
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to requests
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures
• Seek best practices to improve performance
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership
