Job summary

Delve Underground is seeking a Lead Business Development Manager to head and grow our Seller-Doer coaching operation. You will coach, co-lead pursuit strategies, attend client meetings, and shape the coaching program alongside senior leadership.

You’ll manage a team of coaches, grow capabilities, and drive outcomes across mega pursuits with accountability for data quality and coaching standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in AEC business development, with coaching or team leadership.
• Deep knowledge of AEC pursuit cycle, including go/no-go and proposals.
• Experience in underground, transportation, water, or heavy civil markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets coaching standards, portfolio caseload sizing, and curriculum for the Seller-Doer coaching team, in consultation with CSO and Directors.
• Co-led Seller-Doer training programs and pursue strategy sessions with senior coaches.
• Lead, develop, and manage the Seller-Doer coaching team, including senior and mid-level coaches.
• Drive intelligence gathering, positioning, interview prep and pursuit strategies for mega pursuits.
• Maintain coaching standards, templates, and playbooks for team-wide delivery.
