Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking a Sales Representative & Product Developer to maximize sales within the customer base by managing current products and driving new variety development. The role blends commercial execution with technical seed knowledge to support pipeline decisions and market adoption.

You will manage budgets, develop customer plans, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with Breeding teams on trials and product introductions, with travel to field sites and customer sites across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Agricultural major required.
• 5–10 years in sales, product development, agriculture, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility under company driver policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales within defined customer group; execute targeted sales strategies.
• Own sales budget, forecasting, and pricing for territory.
• Develop and monitor customer-specific plans for tactical sales execution.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships to secure profitable outcomes.
• Provide expert technical advice on portfolio and varieties for market adoption.
• Identify opportunities to expand market presence and drive new business.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity; provide insights to leadership.
• Mentor junior sales professionals and accompany them on visits.
