Job summary

Google, via Mandiant, seeks a Security Consultant to help clients prepare for, mitigate, and respond to cyber threats. You will lead complex remediation projects, assess environments, and provide expert guidance across enterprise technology stacks.

You will articulate complex concepts to executives and stakeholders, build trusted client relationships, and drive effective remediation with cross-functional teams, including travel up to 30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 5 years of information security and engineering experience with cloud environments.
• 4 years leading security programs and cross-functional teams.
• 3 years defining project scope and delivering enterprise security controls in hybrid environments.
• Experience implementing security controls across hybrid infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex incident response and remediation engagements across large-scale environments.
• Guide clients through testing cybersecurity incidents and provide expert advice across stacks.
• Communicate strategies clearly to engineers, executives, and boards.
• Build trusted client relationships and recommend tailored security improvements.
• Oversee security operations and manage subcontractors for seamless support.
