Job summary

Google Cloud's Mandiant unit seeks a Security Consultant with strong leadership in incident response and remediation. You'll guide clients through complex security scenarios, provide expert advice across enterprise stacks, and drive targeted security improvements while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will lead engagements, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and manage resources to ensure timely, secure remediation and resilience for client environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in information security and engineering, with cloud-based infrastructure environments.
• 4 years leading security programs and directing cross-functional teams to execute technical solutions.
• 3 years defining project scope, schedules, and deliverables, with enterprise security controls in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex incident response and remediation engagements, managing large-scale recovery projects and resources.
• Guide clients through testing cybersecurity incidents, providing expert technical advice across enterprise stacks.
• Communicate strategies and technical details clearly to stakeholders from engineers to executives.
• Build trusted client relationships and proactively recommend tailored security enhancements.
• Orchestrate security operations and manage subcontractors to deliver seamless support with minimal disruption.
