Job summary

Google Cloud, in collaboration with Mandiant, seeks a Remediation Advisor to guide clients through cybersecurity incidents with leadership and clear technical guidance. You will manage large-scale recovery projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate complex concepts to executives and stakeholders.

You will drive remediation initiatives, test security responses, and coordinate with subcontractors to minimize business disruption while enhancing overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in information security and engineering, working with cloud-based infrastructure environments.
• 4 years of experience leading security programs and directing cross-functional teams to execute technical solutions.
• 3 years of experience defining project scope, schedules, and deliverables, and experience with enterprise security controls in hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments.
• Experience implementing enterprise security controls across hybrid infrastructures and technology stacks.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex incident response and remediation engagements, managing large-scale recovery projects and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
• Guide clients confidently through testing cybersecurity incidents, providing expert technical advice across enterprise technology stacks.
• Communicate key strategies and technical details clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives and board members.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, deeply understanding their environments to proactively recommend tailored security enhancements.
• Orchestrate critical security operations and manage specialized subcontractors to deliver seamless technical support with minimal business disruption.
