Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Alaska driver license and a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to obtain an Alaska Guard License prior to employment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing (hair follicle drug test, physical and fit‑for‑duty assessment, hearing test).
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned buildings, grounds, and areas, either visually or electronically.
• Control access to the property, allowing entry only to properly authorized individuals.
• Inspect premises, including doors, windows, and gates, to ensure they are secure.
• Document and report incidents such as property damage, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and escort them from the property when necessary.
• Notify on-site staff when visitors or service providers arrive.
