Allstate Insurance Co. is launching three new engineering teams to integrate security controls across Allstate’s technology ecosystem.

The Security Engineering Senior Manager will lead day-to-day development, implementation, and support of security controls, partnering with global stakeholders to align business and security goals. The role requires hands-on security engineering leadership, proficiency in cloud security, secure software development, and modern DevSecOps practices, with

Formación

• 10+ years of security engineering experience with at least 3 years in technical leadership or management.
• Deep understanding of secure software development, vulnerability management, cloud security, and modern security engineering practices.
• Experience with secure software configuration and development including APIs, authentication/authorization, encryption, and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD security, and cloud-native security practices.
• Strong knowledge of secure development and compliance best practices.
• Proficient in Agile/SCRUM, TDD, and secure SDLC.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on complex security engineering matters across multiple teams.
• Translate security strategy into achievable goals and KPIs.
• Lead teams delivering secure architecture and security controls across products.
• Promote secure software development practices throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to provide security tech support and risk mitigation.
• Oversee production applications and ensure KPI targets are met.
