Job summary

Premier Professional Systems, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer I to maintain and enhance our cyber security infrastructure.

You will work with various technologies to ensure compliance with Information Security Policies and help protect our organization from cyber threats. The role emphasizes security administration, testing, incident response, and compliance across on-premises, cloud, and network environments.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of applicable experience in cyber security or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with SIEM and incident triage.
• Knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Security Administration – administer cyber security services across laptops, servers, email, network, and cloud platforms.
• Tools and Testing – perform security tests and audits, analyze results and provide recommendations.
• Work with vulnerability management tools to triage vulnerabilities following policies.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and SIEM to improve reporting and proactive security posture.
• Assist in investigation and reporting of security violations and implement corrective action.
• Assist in eDiscovery, forensic investigations, and privacy-related tasks.
