Job summary

Meriplex is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to deliver hands-on cybersecurity engineering and advisory services for client environments. You will design, deploy, configure, and support security technologies across on-premise and cloud infrastructures, networks, and endpoints, while guiding clients and internal teams on best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security industry experience.
• Experience managing Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Experience with systems administration and network infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
• Security+, CCSP or CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure security infrastructure to ensure a robust security posture.
• Perform complex deployments of security technologies.
• Execute information security activities including vulnerability management and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls.
• Develop and maintain security documentation (architecture diagrams, SOPs, incident response playbooks).
• Stay updated on threats and industry trends; recommend countermeasures.
