Job summary

Meriplex is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to deliver hands-on security engineering and advisory services for client environments. You will design, deploy, configure, and support security technologies across on-premises, cloud, networks, and endpoints while partnering with clients to align security with business goals.

You will document architectures, runbooks, and procedures, advise on frameworks such as NIST and CIS, and stay current with threats.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Experience with systems administration and network infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure security infrastructure to ensure a robust security posture.
• Perform complex deployments of security technologies.
• Execute information security activities such as vulnerability management and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into client infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain security documentation including diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Stay up-to-date with security threats and regulatory requirements and recommend countermeasures.
• Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams on security best practices.
• Research and evaluate next-gen security technologies to meet client needs.
• Assist in incident response activities such as log review and firewall configuration.
