Fortra is seeking a skilled professional to analyze efficiency opportunities and automate processes within Security Operations. You will develop Python scripts, review data, and work with stakeholders to define requirements, delivering quick proofs of concept and measurable automation impact.
The role involves on-call support and collaboration with the OI team to continuously improve managed services through automation.
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 2-3 years of software development experience.
- 4-5 years of data analysis experience leveraging SQL.
- Understanding of joins, indexes, query optimization and relational table design.
- 4-5 years of scripting experience in Python.
- Experience with Flask, creating libraries, Python packaging and CICD.
- 3-4 years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry.
- Understanding of DNS, Proxies, Whois, SSL.
Responsabilidades
- Develop scripts and applications in Python
- Analyze data and processes to identify automation opportunities
- Meet with stakeholders to define requirements and provide time estimates
- Develop quick proof of concepts to vet ideas
- Produce metrics showing automation impact
- Monitor applications and troubleshoot errors
- On-call support as needed for applications
