Ntiva, Inc. is seeking a Security Analyst I to join our remote US-based team. You will act as the first line of defense against cyber threats, monitor security dashboards, investigate alerts, secure user accounts, and prepare log data for analysis.

The role emphasizes collaboration with security engineers and cross-team coordination to safeguard client assets. The position requires 1–2 years in cybersecurity and 3–5 years in IT related activities like log analysis or endpoint troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
• 3-5 years in an IT role including log analysis, account/access management, or endpoint troubleshooting.
• This is a full-time role requiring your full alertness and reliable attendance during scheduled hours.
• CySA+, GCIH, or SC-200 (or actively pursuing).
• Hands-on exposure to at least one EDR/SIEM platform (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel)

Responsibilities

• Monitor security dashboards, queues, and alerts to detect potential threats.
• Conduct initial investigations into security alerts and collect log data for analysis.
• Analyze findings to determine scope and severity; escalate complex cases with clear information.
• Review and implement routine changes to security tools and exemptions in the EDR.
• Collaborate with analysts and security engineers to share information and coordinate responses.
• Communicate with end-users/clients to gather details and provide guidance during incident resolution.
• Coordinate security responses with other teams (NOC, Reactive Support, Client Strategy).
• Document investigations, actions taken, and resolutions in ConnectWise.
• Provide timely security-related support with a professional, customer-service approach.
