Qualifications

• Identify at-risk students based on grades and test scores.
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to help students stay in school and graduate.
• Assist students and teachers to develop transition plans for 9th graders.
• Provide training to parents of at-risk students.

Responsibilities

• Identify at-risk students based on student grades and test scores below proficiency.
• Develop and implement individual intervention strategies to increase the likelihood that these students will stay on track.
• Work with students to develop an achievement plan aligned with academic goals.
• Travel throughout Minnesota to meet with students, parents, and learning coaches.
• Assist teachers to develop transition programs for 9th graders to adapt to high school.
• Provide training to parents of at-risk students.
• Identify and link area social agencies with families in need.
• Other duties as assigned.
