Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy is seeking a Reading Interventionist to support English Language Arts achievement for K-12 students in Georgia. The role can be based in our Duluth, GA office or remote from anywhere in Georgia, with full-time hours and involvement in in-person and virtual student activities.

You will use data to drive small-group and individual instruction, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to enhance reading fluency and comprehension.

Qualifications

• Certified to teach Elementary ELA in Georgia.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality instruction to individuals and small groups.
• Use data to drive instruction and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, administration and families.
• Lead RTI meetings and participate in school events.
• Teach and monitor Reading Enrichment courses.
