Minnesota Connections Academy is seeking a Math Interventionist to support K-12 students at risk of failing courses. Working from home or the St. Paul office, you will analyze data, meet with students and families, and coordinate with teachers to develop individualized plans.
You will travel across Minnesota to meet with students, parents, and learning coaches, delivering targeted interventions and tracking progress to help students stay on track for graduation.
School Summary:
Minnesota Connections Academy (MNCA) is a tuition-free, online public charter school for students in grades K-12 throughout Minnesota. MNCA is a member of the Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTCS), a K-12 academic community. MNCA is a state‑approved online program operated through a contract with Connections Academy of Minnesota, LLC, to provide the educational program and other services. MNCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accrediting division of AdvancED.
Position Summary and Responsibilities
Working from your home or our office in St. Paul, Minnesota, the Math Interventionist will provide assistance to K-12 students at risk of failing courses. Important functions of the job include analyzing data; working with individual students or small groups; traveling throughout the state to meet with students, parents, and learning coaches; and working directly with teachers and meeting with students, parents, and learning coaches virtually or in person.
The Math Interventionist will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:
