Job summary

Rightway is seeking a Remote Seasonal Pharmacy Technician to support members, providers, and pharmacies during peak season. The role combines phone, chat, and email interactions to resolve benefits questions, claims, and prior authorizations.

You will work from home in FL, TX, GA, or TN with 1–3 years of pharmacy tech experience, a current PTCB/NHA certification, and the ability to multitask across channels during October through February.

Qualifications

• Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 1–3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a health plan, retail, TPA, PBM contact center, mail order, or specialty setting.
• Knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication, benefit design, and PBM terminology.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and analytical with root-cause focus.
• Empathetic and curious, with a commitment to concierge-level service across channels.
• Able to multitask across phone, chat, and email with independent workload management.
• Willing to work fully remote and maintain reliable attendance during seasonal assignment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for members, providers, and pharmacies across phone, chat, email, and written correspondence.
• Field and resolve inquiries related to mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication cost, prior authorization criteria, and claims adjudication.
• Support interactions across phone, chat, email, and other digital channels while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Assist network pharmacies in processing prescription claims and reviewing claims for accuracy against guidelines and contract standards.
• Support clinical pharmacists with outreach, enrollment in Rightway programs, and patient adherence follow-ups.
• Document interactions and resolutions within internal systems to support continuity of care, QA, compliance, and reporting.
• Take ownership of issues from initial contact through final resolution, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools and internal knowledge systems to resolve inquiries and deliver a consistent member experience.
• Foster a team environment that values cooperation, respect, and diversity, and take on other duties as assigned.
