Job summary

Rightway is seeking a Remote Seasonal Pharmacy Technician to join the Operations team during the busy season. This temporary role supports members, providers, and pharmacies across phone, chat, and email, handling benefits, claims, and program enrollment with accuracy and empathy.

You’ll work Oct/Nov through Feb, serving via remote channels from FL/TX/GA/TN, and contribute to a compliant, patient-centered experience using AI tools and internal systems.

Qualifications

• Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• 1-3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA, PBM contact center, mail order, or specialty setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for members, providers and pharmacies across phone, chat, email, delivering timely and accurate support.
• Field and resolve inquiries related to mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication cost, prior authorization criteria, and claims adjudication.
• Support interactions across phone, chat, email and other channels with consistent quality.
• Assist network pharmacies in processing prescription claims and reviewing claims against guidelines.
• Support clinical pharmacists with outreach and enrollment in Rightway programs and medication adherence.
• Document interactions and resolutions in internal systems for continuity of care and compliance.
• Own issues from initial contact to final resolution, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools and knowledge systems to resolve inquiries and ensure a consistent member experience.
• Foster teamwork and handle additional duties as assigned.
