Job summary

REI Co-op seeks a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to join our remote call center. You will handle inbound calls, assist members, and apply REI product knowledge to provide positive solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in retail or customer service, can attend virtual training, reside in a state with an REI location, and are at least 18 years old. Flexible hours include weekdays and weekends during the season, with a January 9, 2027 end date.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail and/or customer service call center preferred.
• Attend a virtual two week sales and service training class.
• Reside in a state with an REI Retail location for the duration of the position.
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and members, inside and outside the organization.
• Communicate clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing.
• Provide guidance, knowledge and authentic experiences to customers.
• Take inbound phone calls during your shift, up to 8 hours a day.
