Job summary

REI is seeking a seasonal remote Customer Service Representative to assist customers and members from home. You will de-escalate issues, perform online research, and provide authentic outdoor product guidance in a fast-paced call center environment.

The role requires shifting availability, including some weekdays/weekends, with training groups and a January 9, 2027 seasonal end date. Hardware-ready home setup and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail and/or customer service call center preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable using multiple software systems to assist customers.
• Willingness to attend a virtual two-week training class.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound phone calls during your shift, up to 8 hours a day.
• Provide guidance, knowledge and authentic experiences to help customers.
• Apply passion for the outdoors and REI products to serve customers effectively.
