REI is hiring for a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to join our call center team remotely. You will handle inbound calls, help customers and members with guidance and solutions, and apply your outdoor passion and REI product knowledge to assist effectively.

Ideal candidates will have retail or call center experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to research information online.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and/or customer service call center preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Comfort with researching information online to solve issues.
• Reside in a state with an REI Retail location for the duration of the position.
• Flexible schedule with reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Take inbound phone calls during your shift (up to 8 hours a day).
• Provide guidance, knowledge and authentic experiences to customers and members.
• Apply passion for outdoors and REI products to serve customers effectively.
• Build relationships inside and outside the organization.
