Job summary

Uncommon Goods is seeking a team of Seasonal Customer Support Specialists to join our remote Customer Service Team for a US-based company. You will assist customers by phone, live chat, and email to place orders and resolve issues.

Training is provided via a virtual platform, and the role runs through December 20 with potential extension. Hours range from 20 to 40 per week; candidates must be available on weekends and be able to work from home in a quiet space.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Previous experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Flexibility with schedule; weekend availability often required.
• 100% remote work from home with quiet dedicated space.
• Must provide own computer, reliable internet, and a headset with microphone; Chromebooks not compatible.
• Video capabilities required for meetings and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to customers via phone, email, and chat in English.
• Act as an advocate for customers and be conscientious in interactions.
• Identify problems, report accurately, and offer reasonable solutions.
• Place orders and answer questions using available resources.
• Follow up on outstanding matters and provide additional assistance as needed.
