Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an SDET / QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team and drive scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.

The role collaborates with developers, business stakeholders, and DevOps to enable continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines and deliver high-quality healthcare applications.

This remote position is available to applicants in the United States, with visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
• Hands-on ability to implement functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience integrating automated testing in CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright/Selenium with Java.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with QA, Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps to expand automation coverage across applications.
• Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and risk assessments to improve quality.
